Celecia - Senior Session

I know I am a huge slacker when it comes to blogging but I wanted to make sure that this session was posted. I had the pleasure to coach Celecia in cheerleading at East High School.  She was always a hard worker, respectful, kind, and an amazing backspot. :)  There is one particular instance that I remember when I think of Celecia.  We were preparing for a big performance she took a pretty hard fall during a stunt.  She definitely could have sat out but she got right back up and was ready to keep going. This year Celecia had a much harder fall.  I cannot even imagine what it would be like find a mass in your chest during your senior year of high school.  While I was talking to Celecia about her experience she said chemo was hard but she is so ready to just move on... I love her attitude to just keep going. To get back up and keep going. This beautiful girl reminded me how important it is to never give up or take things for granted. Thank you so much for letting me take your senior photos Celecia you are absolutely gorgeous inside and out!!

Alysha & Brent

If you have any hesitation about doing photos in the winter DON'T!!! I love how gorgeous Utah is all covered in snow.  The mountains made an amazing backdrop for this formal turned casual session.  This country boy from Alabama found his perfect match in a gorgeous girl from Miami.  Since they were already married before the session, Alysha didn't mind hiking around in her dress through all the snow.  The even bigger surprise is that Alysha was hiking around in her dress through the snow... and it was only like 9 degrees! Seriously, I think it was the coldest day that we have had since 1990.  She was still willing to do anything for some amazing photos of her and her new hubby before his deployment.  I love how they wanted to incorporate the flag to honor our country in their photos.  A big thank you to Brent as well as all the men and women that serve our country!

Definitely one of my favorite sessions of 2013!  Makes me excited for all the brides to come...

Susan Bridals

I have been DYING to post this bridal session! Now that I am working on the edits for her amazing winter wedding I think it is safe to post these. Susan had the cutest country chic theme for her wedding that we incorporated into her bridals at Wheeler Farms. I am absolutely in love with the whole look that she pulled off flawlessly. She had so many lovely little details from her stunning jewel encrusted jewelry and mermaid dress to her bright red lips, boots, and winter cape.  Can you tell I'm more than a little obsessed with her style? Simply gorgeous.

I was a little surprised at the session when Susan showed up with a whole entourage. :) From in-laws, sisters, nieces and nephews to of course the mother of the bride, this girl had some serious support and people that love her.  It was easy to see why. Susan is such a sweet girl and I could not have had more fun working with her and her family.  So,  I am really glad that we weren't rained out by the fast but furious storm that showed up at the beginning of the session.  After it passed, we had some awesome dark skies that still leaked out some gorgeous light on this beautiful bride.  Stay tuned to see there wedding!

This small-town, country girl had to throw on her cowgirl boots and get a few shots of them with her dress... So glad she did! :)

Candace Bridals

I am so excited to finally post these bridals.  This will be another long post as I could not narrow down my favorites.  Candace is so beautiful... but I think that goes without saying as you look at these images.  I kind of already gushed about Candace earlier on my blog for her engagement session that can be found here.  I love Candace to no end and I have been truly honored to photograph her wedding.  Thanks again for letting me be part of your special day...
